Hello!
And, surprise! I've decided to start a new kinda series on my blog, it probably won't be a regular series, but it's a way for me to spread a little bit of positivity, make somebody smile and also give back a little for things I recieve. Money doesn't make the world go round, but a little bit of kindness can go a long way.
I decided to start this off with my lovely blogger bae, Saph, aka Simply Saph. So,without further ado, here is why I love Saph.
Saph is one of my absolute best friends, and we often find ourselves on whatsapp having a hilarious conversation about something-or-other. Normally puns, or me crying over Keanu Reeves (Or crying over Grommet from Point Break, bc I have a lot of emotions about Grommet from Point Break.) She's always there, I'm not sure she actually sleeps considering the times we sometimes message each other! But she's so supportive, and I know that she knows I'll always be there for her, too, throughout whatever. We have each other's backs. (Blogger baes are forever, not just for Christmas.)
Saph's had a really hard time lately, which isn't something I'm going into, but it's something I've noticed for a while, but now she has her little boy, Charlie, and the love and happiness she feels over having him in her arms has almost brought me to tears on a few occassions. In fact, when she first sent me a photo of him, I almost cried, and I was just on my lunch at work. I got so excited because I know how much he means to her. And I know that she's going to be an incredible mum to him. Throughout her journey over the last 9 months, she's let me in every step of the way, and I was one of the first to be told that she was pregnant, and words just cannot describe how much that means to me, and how much of a privilege it is to be so trusted, I don't feel worthy of it, at all!
She's really caring, and she's also such an interesting person, whether she thinks that or not. While I do believe that we would probably have somehow become friends if we lived closer together anyway, she's also quite a different person from me in a variety of ways, none of which are bad, but she's helped me learn a lot more about myself, and helped me become who I am today. Did I mention that she's the one who booked my tattoo for me? She's a gem. Plus, dat hair doe.
I love Saph. There are so many reasons that I could write out as to why she's one of my best friends, but I don't want to take up all of your time! Saph, thank you for always being there for me, so that I can rant about the little things, or make terrible puns (lmao 'I haven't got the foggiest' is still one of my greatest'). Congratulations on little Charlie, and I'm so excited about you starting this new chapter of your life! (You're welcome for the gift!) Also, thank you for letting me send you clips of Bill and Ted or Point Break and not getting annoyed at me over it! :P
I hope you enjoyed this little post, there are a few more I've got lined up in the future so keep an eye out!
Until next time, be excellent to each other.
