I have been nominated twice to do the Liebster award, so I guess I'd better get started!
First of all, thank you Kia and Kirsty!
What is the Liebster Award? It is kinda like a chainmail, but a nice one, it's sent from blogger to blogger in order to show support and to, almost promote, other, small bloggers. I think it's a great idea, I really love it! You answer 11 questions asked by the nominator then tag 11 more smaller blogs who you want to carry the flame! Because I've been nominated twice, I have double the questions. I'll start with Kia's because she nominated me first.
The rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
2. Display the award on your blog - by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a "widget" or a "gadget". (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post)
3. Answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
4. Provide 11 random facts about yourself.
5. Nominate 5-11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)

How did you come up with your blog's name?
Damn it! Okay I was gonna make a blog post about this so damn you! Okay. I used to go with 'Lifeofgailypi' but wasn't very happy with it. So I wrote down, brainstormed several other names. I wanted something cute, colourful, and my personality but I also wanted something that had reference to the sky because I wanted to talk about travel. I came up with names like gailyfly, flywithgailypi, clouded blue skies before I thought 'hm. I like Sherbet, it's my favourite sweet. The word Aurora is one of my favourite words and it's colourful, and y'know... Aurora Borealis.. Yes. Sherbet Aurora!'
What sort of things do you blog about?
A bit of everything. Travel, Lifestyle, Fashion, Restaurant reviews, whatever!
If you could move to anywhere in the world where would it be?
Uh... I fell in love with Singapore, so either there.. the USA or Japan!
What one piece of makeup could you not live without?
Eyeliner. Yup. That's all I need to say.
What is your favourite quote?
I can't answer this question, like ever! So I'll just say "Let them eat cake!" because Marie Antoinette is my fave.
What is your favourite season and why?
I really like Autumn. It's not too hot, not too cold. I love the orange colour. I love the look of fallen leaves. I love stepping on crunchy leaves. I love breathing out and pretending I'm a dragon. Yes. Autumn.
Jeans or Leggings?
Jeans.
Heels or flats?
Depends, I like heels but sometimes flats are just more comfy. I tend to wear flats.
What time do you wake up in the morning?
College days, about 6.30am. Other days it's probably afternoon.
What sort of blog posts do you want more of on your blog?
Travel, I really want to travel more!
What makes you like a certain blog?
Personality. I love seeing someone's personality come through in a post. In fact, I remember reading this one about HTML and I am someone that knows nothing about HTML but reading her 'Luke and Leia-out' joke had me in stitches! So thank you, Robyn!

What or who inspires you?
I love reading Corinne's blog. I'm there every day! Her personality really comes through and she's so lovely and funny! Also in general, my other friends both IRL and online: Racheal, Robin, Jack, Jennifer, Jasmine, Saph, Sarah, hannah, Ryan.... endless list.
If you could be an animal what would you choose?
I'd be a giraffe. Not only could I then be super tall, but giraffes are bloody cool!
Introvert, Extrovert or somewhere inbetween?
I'm 100% introvert. Actually, according to the Myers-Briggs I did at college last year, I'm like 92% introvert.
Tea or coffee?
Tea.
Favourite place you have visited and why?
SURPRISE SURPRISE It's Singapore. Because that was my first long haul trip, it was beautiful, the people were so lovely and I just loved it.
Favourite fictional character and why?
NO! NO! NO! Don't do this to me! Um... Okay. I'm just gonna pick Han Solo okay because I love him he is bae.
Last book you read? Rating out of 10?
Okay I really need to read more this year because the last book I read was The Amazing Book Is Not On Fire by Dan and Phil. [it was like a 9/10 like I liked it, it was funny but I mean....]
What are you most afraid of?
It's gonna sound kinda weird but being unconscious. Don't get me wrong! I can sleep fine, but the idea of like surgery, or falling asleep in public terrifies me because anyone could do anything and I could die without saying goodbye to those I love THAT IS TERRIFYING.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
People who chew loudly. Breathe loudly. People who get too close. People who never close the door. People who don't flush the toilet [ew]....
When you meet someone new, what is the first thing you notice?
Height usually. Being a short person I'm either overwhelmed by their height or I'm like 'YOU'RE SHORT, TOO?!'
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Oh... I think... I'd like power over water. Irma was my fave character in W.I.T.C.H. and she had control over water. Yes. Water. Water is cool.
